Constructed of gilded and silvered tombak, the obverse consisting of an eight pointed starburst, bearing a central gilded medallion overlaid by a leftward facing Bengal tiger, circumscribed by an inscription of AZAD HIND, with the voids filled by clusters of laurel leaves, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked RUDOLF SOUVAL, WIEN VII, measuring 60. 24 mm
