Germany, Imperial. An m1889 Infantry Officer’s Sword, by Carl Eickhorn Archive 39 Casualty Clearing Station on(Infanterie Offizier Schwert M1889). A well preserved Model 1889 Infantry Officers sword, measuring 89 cm in total length when inserted into the scabbard. It features a 72cm long, nickel plated, magnetic steel blade with a sharpened tip and with two fullers running the length of each side. Blade is marked with an early Carl Eickhorn monogram with dual squirrels and E. C. It sits securely within a multi piece hilt. The hilt features a guard bearing a
