Prussia, Kingdom. A 25-Year Long Service Cross For Officers, C.1910 Newly Listed maker marked "CARL WILD HAMBURG(Dienstauszeichnung fr Offiziere). Instituted 18 June 1825 by King Friedrich Wilhelm III. (1825 1920 issue). Constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a bronze trapezoid backplate and horizontal pinback, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central monogram of King Friedrich Wilhelm III, the reverse with a number 25 in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 39. 36 mm (w) x 43.
