Model of string box dating from the 19th century and most certainly English (Georgian era) in exotic wood, perhaps Gaac, also called Lignum Vitae (tree of life). The whole is in good condition. The patina of the wood is slightly damaged but it still remains in good condition. The varnish is slightly tarnished in places. There are a few small cracks in the wood on the edge of the lid, without
