Delosperma dyeri Chasmanthium more than a decade laterDelosperma dyeri is an ice plant that hails from the mountains of South Africa's Eastern Cape Province, but has adapted well to drier parts of the US. The 2" tall x 18" wide mats of fleshy green foliage are blanketed, primarily from April through June (except in excessive heat) with showy coral red star shaped flowers. Delosperma dyeri was a 2007 Plant Select winner (Colorado State University Denver Botanic Gardens). As with most delospermas, well
