Austria, Republic. An Order of the Golden Fleece, Neck Decoration, Collector’s Example, by C.F. Rothe & Neffe, c.1980 United Republic of the 1904 Type III version(Ritterorden vom Goldenen Vlies). Instituted January 10th, 1429. (c. 1980). Constructed of gilded silver, consisting of a double sided depicting of the Golden Fleece of Colchis executed in fine detail, topped by a suspension ring and suspended from a replacement full length red neck ribbon, unmarked but typical of Rothe manufacture, measuring 27. 5 mm (w) x 38. 0 mm (h inclusive of integral ring), weighing 20. 4 grams, a high quality collectors
