1907 Print Vittore Carpaccio Funeral Saint Jerome Renaissance Mourning XAG8 MODART Automobile DistributersThis is an original 1907 halftone print of a a piece by Venetian Renaissance artist Vittore Carpaccio (c. 1465 1525), who is best known his conservative, large scale detachable wall paintings, which were not as humanistic in nature as the work of his other Italian contemporaries. This image portrays the funeral of Saint Jerome. He was originally buried in Bethlemen, however his remains were later transferred to Italy. CONDITION This 104+ year old Item
