Constructed of field grey cotton twill, trimmed with light brown khaki piping used by Infantry and Flak troops, bordered by a silver aluminum wire tresse, the reverse with an integral strap bearing a reinforced buttonhole, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 115 mm (l), an early example largely used by Afrikakorps personnel in extremely fine condition.
