Constructed of magnetic metal, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, overlaid by a sword on top of a mobile swastika, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked W. REDO, SAARLAUTERN, measuring 46. 45 mm (w) x 58. 88 mm (h), weighing 18. 2 grams, a type III badge in near extremely fine condition.
