It is characterised by small, round leaves measuring approximately 4 cm in length and 2 cm in width, lime green in colour with dark purple leaf margins. The leaves can turn red in bright sunlight. The plant produces clusters of teeny red flowers with petals strongly wrapped back, up to 3 mm across, with an orange corona. Each umbel can contain up to 20 flowers, emitting a sweet and
