An Order Of The Red Cross, Silver Cross, Silver Grade, C.1900 Hold with diplomatic insignia attached (inSilver Grade Silver, 39. 8 mm, original ribbon with rectangular hanger, light contact and surface wear, better than very fine. Footnote: The Cruz Vermelha Portuguesa (Portuguese Red Cross) was founded on February 11, 1865 by Dr. Jos Antnio Marques, making it one of the oldest such societies and was awarded for "diligent or assiduous" service.
