Slapend zee His works gained recognition inRu van Rossem (1924 2007) was a Dutch sculptor, draftsman, and graphic artist from Amsterdam. He received his education at the Rijksinstituut voor Opleiding van Tekenleraren, where he was taught by the renowned graphic artist and painter Arend Hendriks (1901 1951). From the 1950s to the 1980s, he taught at the Academy of Fine Arts in Tilburg. As a sculptor, some of Van Rossem's well known works include the Fountain (1991) for the Jeroen Boschtuin in
