As enjoyable on its own as it is in your favorite margarita recipe
this is a wine capable of enduring remarkably long cellaring
2011 Alc: 50%
It spent 18 months in 25% new French oak
Faiveley Corton 'Clos des Cortons Faiveley' Monopole Grand Cru - 2002 (750ml) Florida As enjoyable on its own(2002 vintage) "Intense smoky, meaty, carrot top nose with black cherry, peppery, beeswax aromas and some tobacco compost notes. Dry, slightly fat style with fine, slightly chunky tannins. On the palate there's more spice compost, black raspberry, citrus peel and gamey, smoky tobacco flavours. Long meaty, rootsy finish. Needs a decade to reach its peak. Terrific bottle. (Anthony Gismondi and Stuart Tobe)." Gismondi on Wine
