Carex cherokeensis Crying Time Engelmannia the foliage of Aspidistra 'Seiun'For 2021, Plant Delights JLBG was pleased to introduce an amazing form of the native Carex cherokeensis that our research staff (Zac Hill and Jeremy Schmidt) brought back from a 2017 expedition to Houston County, Georgia. This amazing, heavy flowered selection has made a stunning clump to 30" tall x 4. 5' wide, topped with stalks of hundreds (maybe more) of pendant, weeping flowerheads from early May (NC) through early summer. We find that Carex
