Constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Patte with pebbled arms, with an oak leaf wreath through the quadrants, the obverse with a central black swastika, the reverse with a central inscription of FR TREUE DIENSTE (FOR FAITHFUL SERVICE), unmarked, measuring 41. 08 mm (w) x 45. 46 mm (h), weighing 21. 4 grams (inclusive of ribbon),
