A First War Royal Naval Pilot Badge, C.1918 Hold measuring 92 mm (w) XGold coloured and silvered bullion wire, in various textures, with touches of red and green embroidery in the base of the crown, interlaced with black threading giving definition to the wings, padded, on a black wool base, black cloth mesh backer, inscribed in blue handwritten ink "Denmark Naval Pilot 1918" on the reverse, 40 mm x 121 mm, glue and mounting paper residue evident on the reverse from previous board mounting, extremely fine.
