Based in Hanover, the Bahlsen company, which mainly produces cakes and biscuits, was founded on July 1, 1889 by Hermann Bahlsen. The box and its lid take up the pattern of Christmas Bretzel biscuits created by Gertrud Kraut in 1914. This lovely vintage biscuit tin is in perfect condition (no cracks or chips) and will adorn your kitchen
