1929 Al-Qasr Egypt Village Street Dakhla Oasis Woman - ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAVURE EG1 XGO6 It followed the veto ofThis is an original 1929 photogravure of a street in the village of Al Qasr (El Kasr ) in the Dakhla Oasis (or Inner Oasis), in central Egypt. Al Qasr is a village of around 700 people which has changed little over the centuries. The buildings are still constructed from mud bricks which are made in the old tradition.
