The charms are double sided, three dimensional stars made of silver plated brass; Red (colour 64) combines old white hearts with Czech bohemian cut beads; Sax (colour 65) and Blue (colour 24) use indigo shell beads dyed using a traditional technique that has been used since the Edo period. Indigo shell beads are used. The materials used are environmentally friendly, made
