The new owner would be Bill Ringsby, owner of Denver based trucking company Ringsby Rocket Trucking System. It only made sense to call the newly acquired ABA team the Denver Rockets. The Rockets would play its home games in Auditorium Arena for a long period of time before the team overhauled its entire image in 1971. They changed the colors, uniforms,
