This can was made for Butter Nut, a brand of mellow coffee still sold today. Despite originally being known as a regional brand, the gas roasted coffee's reputation preceded it, and over 7,000 people showed up to sample it at the 1922 Nebraska State Fair, making it a nationally sought after brand.
