1893 Chicago Worlds Fair South Dakota Building W. Dow ORIGINAL HISTORIC FAI4 Victorian Women This 110+ year old Item"South Dakota's Building." This is an original 1893 halftone print of the South Dakota State Building at the 1893 Chicago Worlds Fair. The architect was W. L. Dow, of Sioux Falls, and the contractors, carpenters, and even the laborers, were South Dakota men. (Please note that, typical of halftone prints, there is printing on the reverse.) Period Paper has obtained a wonderful set of halftone prints of the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, also known as the
