There are two lengths, one for the 18" pan and one for the 24" pan. When held in place on the tray, the frame serves to isolate a portion of the test surface from a liquid used in the test. It also serves to hold flexible materials in place against the tray, glass plate or machine base. Please note that the sponge box cannot be used with the Lilly frame
