He was chosen by Our Lady Of Guadalupe as a messenger to have a temple built in Tapeyec, Mexico. As a sign for the Bishop, Juan Diego was asked to carry roses to the Temple in his cloak. As he opened the cloak to show the roses, Our Lady of Guadalupe image appeared on the cloak.
