This has a lot to offer the hiker: rich nature, a lot of relief, many unpaved paths and little inconvenience from major roads. You walk from near the August Reitsmahuis in Hoek van Holland, via Banjaert and Het Zeehuis to Den Oever. On the other side of the Afsluitdijk, the path then connects to the Fries Groningen Coastal Path.
