Mug émaillé - Bigeard Boys - Good Morning Army GCP PROCEEDS WILL BE USED FORThe "Bigeard Boys" refers to the paratroopers of the 6th Colonial Paratrooper Battalion (6e BPC) commanded by Major Marcel Bigeard. Reconstituted on July 5, 1952, in Saint Brieuc, the 6e BPC distinguished itself during the Battle of Tu L in October 1952, Operation Castor (the jump on Din Bin Phu on November 20, 1953) and the second jump into the basin on March 16, 1954. Nicknamed the "Zatopek Battalion" for its forced marches, the 6e BPC was disbanded
