WW1 Trench Art Heart Ring gilt metal tests as 15k gold (pinDATE: WW1, c. 1915 An incredible example of WW1 "trench art",made by a soldiers on the front lines using whatever materials they had to hand. This ring is predominantly aluminium, likely from the nose cone of an artillery shell, set at the head with a copper (?) heart.
