SHĀHANSHĀH - ZEMESTAN-E AVAL-E SHEKAR LP NWOBHM a striking opus of RawThis release compiles the first two recordings (Kaman va Anar + Faryad: Barpakhiz! Rastakhiz!) from this young Iranian American project. Both demos present black metal steeped in Persian mysticism, blending galloping desert rhythms with swirling, hypnotic arabesque melodies. FYI part of the jacket has been stencil painted, some are less perfect than others.
