It is an official bank book issued by Hermann Gring as head of the Luftwaffe. These savings books were given to orphans of Luftwaffe members who died during their service. It is dated to November 1, 1944. Karin Manthey received 1,000 Reichsmark. Measuring 147 mm (w) x 207 mm (h), presenting light scuffing of the cover and water stains at the top of each page, remains very fine.
