BOOTH, Margery Autographs Singers Lot signed on first page byEnglish soprano (1906 1952), who married a German man, emigrated to Germany and became a British spy during World War II. She met Hitler and eventually was arrested and tortured by the Gestapo for being a spy, ended up imprisoned in a British war camp, where she sang for prisoners.
