Alocasia zebrina 'Black Stem' Size:19cm making it a striking additionA new, rare cultivar with striking, black stems as the name suggests. Cultivar of Alocasia zebrina which is native to South East Asia. Leaves are large, arrow shaped and upward pointing. Leaf undersides are also veined in black. The black stems are actually deep red which can sometimes be seen on the sheaths. Growth pattern: Tuberous, tall & upright Water: Little and often. Keep moist but not waterlogged. Ideal Position: South, east or north facing
