Emerging in the 1990s alongside legendary shoegaze bands such as my bloody valentine and Slowdive, Ride distinguished themselves from their contemporaries with a more melodic and jangly sound that emerged on records such as Nowhere (1990) and Going Blank Again (1992). After a near 20 year hiatus, Ride returned to touring in 2014 and in 2017
