The elliptical blue green foliage turns shades of purple red in fall. The white flower clusters bloom in late spring but the berries ripen early. Grows best with full sun and rich, moist acidic well drained soils. Has moderate chill requirement of 600 650 hours. While able to self fruit it should be planted
